Meet the Team

Our team is composed of successful entrepreneurs from across the banking, public accounting, specialty finance, distressed debt and real estate industries who possess experience in all functional areas of our businesses and bring over two centuries of experience to every opportunity. Each member of the Executive Team leverages their unique expertise across our portfolio, and actively participates in a specific business as a senior member to provide the most value possible.

Norman Kravetz
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Norman Kravetz is the co-founder and Chairman of JH Capital Group, reviewing all business forecasts and financial and asset acquisitions activity of the company. He influences the public image of the organization and guides management in the execution of business plans to improve overall performance. Mr. Kravetz is an entrepreneur with a long and distinguished track record of success. He is the founder and owner of Realty Bancorp, Warner World, The Kravetz Company, Kravetz Capital Funding, Norman J. Kravetz Enterprises, Topanga Warner Financial Center and Colorado Capital Calabasas. Mr. Kravetz was also the co-owner of Oakmont Mortgage, Budget Rent a Truck, and Beverly Hills Polo Club. Mr. Norman Kravetz and his family of companies collectively own and operate over $200MM of real estate located in Southern California and developed the Trillium Center, a 1,000,000 square feet commercial development in Warner Center, California.

Douglas Jacobsen
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Douglas Jacobsen is the visionary of the company responsible for overall business strategy as well as driving all merger and acquisition activity. Mr. Jacobsen is a serial entrepreneur with a long track record of success. He is the namesake behind the JH company and is the founder of JH Portfolio Debt Equities, LLC and New Credit America as well as several other businesses. Mr. Jacobsen is also the founder of Jacobsen Holdings, LLC a successful real estate development company which has developed over $450MM of retail, office and industrial properties, and whose shopping centers are anchored by Best Buy, Home Depot, Albertsons, Walgreens, and other brand name big box retailers. Mr. Jacobsen received his BA from University of California, Los Angeles, and is a member of the Seneca – Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma.

Anthony Riggio

As President of JH Capital Group, Mr. Anthony Riggio is responsible for strategy, business development, acquisitions and operations. Prior to JH, Mr. Riggio served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Acquisitions for Encore Capital Group (NASDAQ: ECPG). Prior to Encore, Mr. Riggio was an SVP for Washington Mutual Card Services (formerly Providian). Before joining WaMu, he was part of the start-up team and led business development operations for a financial service software provider called Obongo, Inc., which was funded by Sequoia Capital and later acquired by AOL. He spent the early part of his career in strategic consulting companies including Monitor Company (UK) and Coopers & Lybrand (New York). Mr. Riggio received his BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and his MBA from the University of Michigan Business School. He also completed international certifications from WHU Koblenz in Germany and the Stockholm School of Economics.

Glenn Corey
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Glenn Corey is the CFO and CPA of JH Capital Group, and is responsible for integrating the strategic vision and growth initiatives of JH into a financial infrastructure and reporting systems. Prior to joining JH, as a CFO in several privately owned firms, Mr. Corey’s astute financial expertise, business acumen, and organizational leadership was instrumental in successfully closing over $1.5 billion in M&A and capital transactions, and for the start-up, growth, and divestiture of strategic investment entities, including a $50 million EBITDA route servicing business sold for $475 million and a real estate enterprise which developed a one million square foot multi-use facility that subsequently sold for more than $200 million. Mr. Corey is a member of the California Board of Accountancy, the American Institute of CPAs, Association of Corporate Growth and the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisition Advisors and was also formerly employed by Touche Ross, prior to its merger into Deloitte.

Chris Raymond
Chief Risk Officer

Mr. Chris Raymond is the Chief Risk Officer of JH Capital Group, responsible for all strategy & analytics. Prior to JH, he served as Senior Vice President of Recovery Strategies at Bank of America, where he was responsible for the development and execution of recovery strategies on charged off assets for consumer card, consumer lending and business card portfolios totaling over $25B in active inventory across the US, Canada, and European markets. His group developed account treatment and segmentation leveraging various channels such as internal collections, 3rd party agencies, legal networks, asset sales, and offsets. Prior to this role, Mr. Raymond led the recovery forecasting and analytics department at Bank of America, where he was responsible for annual and monthly financial forecasts of all supported recovery products. His group set monthly goals for internal resources and external vendors utilizing batch track liquidation curves that ensured the division achieved financial targets. Additionally, he was responsible for the corporation’s bankruptcy forecasting and analytics. During his 16-year tenure with Bank of America/MBNA America, he held multiple management and strategies related positions in various operational departments. Mr. Raymond attended Wilmington College and majored in Aviation and Business Management while graduating from Dawn Aeronautics flight school with a Professional Pilot and Flight Instructors license.

Todd Harrington, Esq.
General Counsel

Mr. Todd Harrington is the General Counsel of JH Capital Group. Prior to JH, he served as President and CEO of Datasat Digital Entertainment Inc. and Datasat Technologies Inc., sister corporations engaged mainly in digital audio and wireless communications. In these positions, Mr. Harrington was responsible for executing the strategic vision of the companies and developing and structuring all strategic relationships and opportunities. Mr. Harrington is licensed to practice law in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State Long Beach and a J.D. from Loyola Law School.
